2022.01.28 16:56 venuseros Evolving Eevee
Just wondering how the time-based eevelutions work in this game, for example: my eevee levelled up during the day which would normally make an espeon, however if i evolve it at night since we can now choose will it still become an espeon? or will it become an umbreon? thanks

2022.01.28 16:56 subter-fugue Graduated 38w6d! Induction due to Hypertension!
My blood pressure runs low. Like *check to see if she's dead while sleeping* low. So when I popped high at two OB visits in a row, they recommended I go in for induction since little man was full-term and there were more potential problems if I waited. Had to come home and get my ducks in a row. Called in-laws to come stay with my 5yo. Went in the next day. (Wednesday)
I have had really bad pelvic girdle pain to the point that walking anywhere was enough to make me scream in agony. I also have a terrible vagal reaction to most things involving needles. So... when the midwife goes to check to see how dilated and effaced I am, I can't tolerate her touching me. She thinks I might be at 1 cm but can't tell because my cervix is really far back. They were planning on putting in a balloon to do cervical ripening to get me to 3 cm to start pitocin. Midwife initially recommended placing it with a speculum. I agree, thinking surely they would do it differently if midwife thought another way was better.
The nurse prepares me to put in my IV and draw some blood - I warn about my bad vagal reaction. IV goes in, I go out. When I come to, apparently I was not out too long, but midwife now recommends putting in my epidural early before doing my ripening. Cool. I had an epidural with my daughter and had no problems. There's a shift change at the hospital. I assume my vagal reaction gets communicated via chart, or anything really, but also don't think it's too likely that epidural will cause vagal reaction. Wrong. Epidural goes in. Everything is fine. They get me settled in and while we're chitchatting (me, nurse, anesthetist) suddenly my upper body feels strange. And I go, "Oh shit, something's wrong. I think I'm going to puke," and pass out AGAIN. Apparently this reaction was a little more intense, all the more so because this nurse and the anesthetist had NO IDEA that I had already vagaled once and that it was a possibility. When I came to again, there were like 4 additional members of the care team in my room and everybody was on edge. Took me a little bit longer to recover sense this time because the epidural was already running. I had fainted maybe 6 or 7 minutes after it had started. They knocked me back to a low dose, waited a little bit and had a new midwife check my dilation. Didn't feel a thing! And she said I was at 3 cm and 70% effaced! I didn't even have to do the balloon! Much joy!
We start the pitocin and I get a few hours of sleep. I end up waking up at around 2 with the midwife getting ready to break my water. Start feeling a little bit of pressure with sharp edges so I press my epidural button to drop the sharpness but keep the pressure (which was what I was told is normal and I need to be able to feel that so I can push. Totally different than when I had my daughter.) After water breaks, contractions become intense, incredibly painful and very frequent. In less than an hour, I go from 3cm to 8. Nurse is an amazing sweetheart and gets me talking which takes my mind off the pain for the last couple of cm and we end up joking and laughing about a lot (which also eases my anxiety significantly.) Suddenly I'm at 10 cm and fully effaced and ready to push. The nurse counts me through 3 sets of 10 pushing during each contraction. It only takes 3 contractions for baby to crown. Then shit hurts bad and I feel like I won't be able to get him out. Go through 2 more contractions pushing and his head is out. Holy crap shoulders hurt worse. 1 more contraction, 3 more 10 second-long pushes and he is out! And screaming. Placenta comes out without any extra effort, there's no tearing (despite me thinking my clit ripped off) and regular amount of bleeding. Baby looks great, and whole care team is amazed at how quick and easy it went and how little damage there was.
Despite my own failings (stupid vagal reaction) the birth was such a positive experience and my nursing care team was wonderful. It almost makes you forget how terrible the pregnant part was. ALMOST.

2022.01.28 16:56 Creative-Canary-941 Jelly Legs
Hi fellow travelers on this awful road. I'd like to hear from those of you who have experienced so-called jelly legs during w/d. Do they improve? How do you get through? Did they overload your heart? How long?
I started having leg muscle weakness for the first time early this week. I could still walk ok but it was a struggle. I've done daily exercise, take walks for years, so this was a total surprise. Came to a head last night after doing some chores and a short walk earlier with effort. Suddenly couldn't go any further and felr like my heart was going to stop. Yet my heart rate, oxygen etc was solid normal. Today I'm using my wife's walker, too scared to push my heart into arrest.
Joined the group just a few days ago. My heartfelt best to sll of you.
Got into this nightmare in early Dec after taking several 0.5 Ativan over the course of a month or so following my wife's stroke in late Oct. Started get shakes, palps, tremors, frequent panic sttacks, etc. Still had good days early on,, but made the mistake of taking another Ativan when another PA hit. No idea what was going on or that I could be making it worse. Finally learned about benzo withdrawal. CT for just over a week now.
Managing everything ok except the leg muscles giving out. Scared to death.

2022.01.28 16:56 throwaway_smohaway 22[M4F] Anywhere - looking for a partner on this ride called life
I’m looking for a relationship, don’t care where you’re from. Kinda interested in meeting people outside of the states, but anywhere is good.
Film/TV: I can talk for hours about this. Greatest movie of all time is Seven Samurai
Sports: I play rugby. But I love to watch F1, American Football, hockey, baseball, you name it.
Books: I do like to read. Currently reading dune. Fav author is Stephen King.
PC/Video Games: I do enjoy video games. I own a PC, switch, Xbox, and PS5.
Architecture: I love looking at houses, apartments, and building designs. Currently trying to buy more architecture books. Interior design is just as cool too.
Travel: I want to live outside the US in the near future, either in Western or Northern Europe, part of me wants to retire quietly on a vineyard one day.
If any of that strikes your fancy, please message me in Reddit chat. I’ve got plenty of friends, just wanting to meet new people, expand my circle, and see where it goes. Please be around my age. 19-28.

2022.01.28 16:56 Dr_Cartoons Does anyone know why Jake Gossling stopped producing Ed Sheeran's music?
He was Ed's main producer on +/x. Also, he was recently in a video with Maisie Peters about Ed Sheeran and his song You Need Me I don't Need You, but we never heard why the man who produced and co-wrote almost everything in +/x suddenly stopped on ÷ and =. He was less featured on x, and on Divide Jhony McDaid was Ed's main produceco-writer.
